Active Isolated Stretching (AIS) - A very precise, therapeutic form of stretching and corrective exercise that will quickly increase flexibility and correct postural problems.  By actively contracting the muscles opposite of the targeted muscle, it triggers a nervous system response to further relax the targeted muscle.  This technique is utilized by many professional and Olympic athletes.  See stretchingusa.com for more information.

Chair Massage - Generally, chair massage is administered onsite at the workplace or at a special event. Clients remain fully clothed and treatments generally last from 15-30 minutes. Chair massage is usually limited to the back, neck and arms.

Hot Stone Massage - Hot stone massage therapy is designed to enhance relaxation of the muscles through placement of hot basalt stones on the body.  Further, our therapists utilize hot stones as massage tools, to provide deep muscle stripping and friction.

Myofascial Release (MFR)- Myofascial release deals with the fascia, or connective tissue, of the body. The fascia is interconnected to every other part of the body, and actually helps to support the body's very structure, including the musculoskeletal system. A massage therapist will release fascial restrictions by applying gentle pressure to the restricted areas. MFR can help with a number of conditions, including chronic pain, headaches, and stress-related illnesses.
Orthopedic Massage - Orthopedic massage therapy combines several massage techniques to treat pain and soft-tissue injury. It focuses heavily on injury assessment and rehabilitation, emphasizing the importance of selecting the appropriate modality to treat the injury.

Pregnancy Massage - Pregnancy Massage is designed to relieve muscular tension and structural discomforts, enhances body awareness and offers emotional support to reduce anxiety & stress.

Neuromuscular Therapy (NMT) - NMT is massage applied to specific muscles, often used to increase blood flow, release knots of muscle tension, or release pain/pressure on nerves. This therapy is also known as trigger point therapy in that concentrated finger pressure is applied to "trigger points" to alleviate muscular pain.

Sports Massage - Sports massage therapy is both preventative and therapeutic.  It involves deep tissue massage and targeted stretching to help prevent and treat injuries, improve flexibility, and improve performance.

Swedish Massage - Generally regarded as the most common form of massage therapy, Swedish massage involves a combination of five basic strokes and concentrates on the muscles and connective tissues of the body for improved circulation, relaxation, pain relief, and overall health maintenance and well-being.
